A Message from the Dean of the College
The College of Applied Sciences is one of the leading colleges at Hajjah University in the Republic of Yemen. It boasts a distinguished academic staff across all modern applied scientific disciplines, as well as state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories. This is due to the significant attention given to this pioneering scientific institution by the university administration, represented by the care and support of Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Al-Khaled, and the considerable efforts of the university's vice presidents and leadership, along with the college's deans and vice deans.
Since its establishment, the college, through the dedicated efforts of all its staff, has strived to qualify students and produce graduates with a high level of knowledge and skills in technological and scientific fields such as computer science, networks and communications, industrial chemistry, geology, mining, and microbiology. Thanks to God, the college has achieved continuous progress in developing and updating its existing departments and programs to meet the needs of the current era and the job market. Furthermore, it has introduced new specialized programs, such as cybersecurity and information technology, to keep pace with rapid global technological advancements.
The college also seeks to introduce new programs in the coming years, God willing, and to improve existing academic performance, positively impacting the college's output in accordance with international standards and based on the college's vision, mission, and objectives. This is all aimed at advancing our beloved nation in all fields of science, despite the difficult and stifling circumstances our dear country is experiencing due to the unjust Israeli and American aggression and blockade.
Finally, I extend my sincere thanks to the department heads, faculty members, and administrative staff of the college for their tremendous efforts, as they are the cornerstone of the success of academic and research work in this esteemed scientific institution.
