Dean's Message
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his good and pure family. To proceed:
The importance of knowledge and education in our Islamic culture is evident through the teachings of our true religion and its urging to seek knowledge. Education is undoubtedly a pillar of the renaissance and progress of nations. The main role of universities and their scientific, research, and service centers is to contribute to the advancement of thought, the progress of science, and the development of human values. They aim to provide the community with qualified national cadres of specialists in all professional and educational fields, as well as experts in various disciplines. They also aim to prepare conscious individuals armed with the fundamentals of knowledge, advanced research methods, practical skills, and lofty values to participate in shaping their future, supporting the renaissance of society, and serving humanity. Consequently, the university is considered an investment institution for developing the most important wealth of society: human wealth.
The Training and Community Service Center at Hajjah University is considered one of the most important scientific and service institutions at the university in training and qualifying distinguished cadres in all professional fields. The center was established in 2017 as a service unit within the framework of implementing training programs. Its various programs and activities were expanded to achieve the university's mission and goals in serving the community. Today, it has become a leading center for qualifying cadres by opening qualitative departments in the health field (3-Year Diploma). In 2019, health departments were opened (Emergency Medicine – Respiratory Care – Midwifery), and in 2023, other departments were also accredited (Nursing – Laboratories).
Thus, the center seeks to prepare human wealth distinguished by scientific knowledge and professional skills that meet the developmental needs of the community and keep pace with the requirements of the modern era through quality in education, excellence, and advancement in community service. The center also seeks continuous development through constant renewal in training and rehabilitation programs, keen to provide the best cadres to the labor market.
In light of the current situation that the homeland has been going through for more than ten years under aggression and economic siege, with God's help, the support of the University Presidency, and the efforts of the sincere center staff, the educational process has been improved. The quality of services has been raised through strategic planning to advance the center, improve its performance, and keep pace with continuous changes in labor market needs and requirements amidst competitiveness, while innovating new mechanisms to contribute to solving problems facing the course of societal development.
Finally, I would like to emphasize that the success of the center depends on the cooperation of all its affiliates. Therefore, I am pleased to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to this constellation of elite teachers, trainers, academics, and distinguished administrative staff for their sincerity and dedication to the success of the center and the realization of its mission and goals under its distinguished vision. I also extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahab Al-Khaled, for his interest in the center and his continuous and unlimited encouragement and support, and for facilitating all the center's tasks.
We ask God Almighty to help us all perform our scientific and practical tasks, to guide our steps on the path of goodness, and to protect Yemen and its people from all harm and evil.
