Department Vision:
The Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Hajjah University, strives for uniqueness, excellence, and creativity in disseminating biological knowledge, specifically in Microbiology. It aims to provide an environment where faculty and students cooperate, serving as a distinct learning base grounded in study plans and programs that elevate the academic process. This is designed to meet local labor market needs by supplying graduates who possess high professional competence in the fields of Microbiology.

Department Mission:
The Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Hajjah University, is committed to excellence in education by providing modern and significant knowledge in the field of biological sciences, particularly Microbiology, due to the great importance of this science in medical, agricultural, and industrial fields alike. This is achieved by qualifying national cadres of faculty members and students to enable them to keep pace with global developments in this field.

Department Objectives:
The department seeks to achieve the following:

• Develop plans and programs that align with global standards in this specialization.

• Work towards achieving quality and academic accreditation requirements as one of the College's most important goals.

• Graduate qualified students and researchers in this specialization to meet the needs of the local labor market, especially in the Jabal Al-Akhdar region.

• Develop scientific research and establish an advanced research center to solve the region's problems, particularly regarding emerging health, agricultural, or industrial issues resulting from microbiological pollution.
